Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data is processed on modularthinkin, under the GDPR and the German BDSG. The controller is Andreas Höppener (see the imprint for the full address and contact).
Newsletter
When you subscribe, we process the email address you provide (and any additional fields the signup form asks for) for the sole purpose of sending the newsletter.
Legal basis
Your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We use a double opt-in: after signing up you receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list once you confirm.
Processor
The newsletter is sent via Kit (ConvertKit), operated by Kit.com, Inc., USA. A data processing agreement and EU standard contractual clauses apply to the transfer. Kit processes the data on our behalf to deliver the emails.
Storage and withdrawal
We store your data until you unsubscribe. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailinghello@modularthinkin.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Web analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Ltd., to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, device). Data may be transferred to Google LLC, USA under EU standard contractual clauses.
Consent (Google Consent Mode v2)
Analytics is off by default: consent for every signal is set to denied before the tag loads, so no analytics cookies are set until you agree via the consent banner. Only if you click „Accept" do we enable analytics storage.
Legal basis and withdrawal
Your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by clearing this site’s data in your browser (which removes the stored choice and re-shows the banner). Withdrawal does not affect processing before it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on AWS Amplify (Amazon Web Services). When you visit, the infrastructure processes technical access data (such as IP address, timestamp, requested resource) as needed to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contacthello@modularthinkin.com.
